"Pit-pat, pit-pat."

I stood watching as the petals of rain hit hard against my window pane. The dark clouds in the sky hovered perilously and everything around me was unusually silent. I had just returned from my friend's place...

Yesterday was the last day of examinations for my class. This occassion, which is supposed to be a joyous one, was marred by the fact that it was the also the last day my class could assemble together under the name "DBF/1B/08".

So after the paper, we went to have our dinner at the Singpost in Paya Lebar. Chatted a lot while eating and stayed there for quite some time. It was already 7+pm when we reach Calister's place. Upon arriving at her house, we settled down quickly and watched our first movie of the day: The Heirloom.

Shan't go into the details of the movie but just a rough idea for you guys, it is a horror movie. So after starting the movie, Calister went to switch off the lights (to a lot of gasps and disapprovals from us) and we proceeded on to watch the movie in semi-darkness.

The movie ended at around 9pm and Benjamin switched to watch the 9pm show on Channel 8. It is a very nice show (I mean it as I tried to watch it whenever I had the chance to. =X) but I missed yesterday's episode due to an invitation by some of my friends to start a mahjong game with them. [Never mind about it, somebody updated me about the storyline yesterday. =)] Played a few rounds with them and before I know it, the hour-hand of the clock was stuck firmly between the figures "10" and "11" while the minute-hand was in the "4" to "6" region (her clock is not a digital one). The message from the clock was clear to everyone. It spelled: "HD got to go now, but he will come back later." So, Calister "showed me the door" and off I go, back to home.

Resumed the party at around 3am. Played more mahjong, watched more movies and of course, got to experience more of Wei Keong's lame-ness. =P I remember that among the movies that we watched was this "Something-Pow" show (Darn! I forgot the title of the movie). It is super Wei Keong (meaning it's both lame and funny at the same time) and it livened up the almost-dead atmosphere in the room then. Just listen to the sounds of laughter produced by Bak Kut Kun and me. Lol. It was super noisy lahz!

Time-check: 6.20am. It was finally time to leave Calister's place. I tried to hide the mixture of feelings within me at that point of time and left the place, putting on the happiest mask one could ever find.

"Ding!" The sound rang through my ears as the lift doors opened. I bade goodbye to them in the most hurried manner I could. I so wanted to ask them out for breakfast at a nearby hawker-centre, but seeing the looks of exhausation on their faces, I decided that it was best not to. I walked on.

The flash of lightning before my eyes brought me back to reality again. I sighed.

Exhausation finally had the better of me and I trudged my way back to my bedroom.

P.S.: Thank you all, really. You guys had been great and yea, just want to tell all of you that my 1st year in Poly was really well-spent because of you guys. Even though we may not be in the same class next year, I do hope that we will continue to stay in contact. The many things that you guys have taught me, the advices that followed when I had difficulties in my life, the jokes that all of us share... I will remember them. Really. Thank you all so much so much. Stay insane alright? =)
