Hey people! After 3-weeks of MIA-ing, I have decided to take some time out and update this already-so-dead blog (it needs a new lease of life!) with the activities that I have been doing.

I am sure this will not come as a suprise to many, my vacations has came to an end two weeks ago and I have already started to attend lessons. Year 2 in polytechnic is definitely a big jump from Year 1, as could be seen by the two projects that I have on my hand currently. Not to mention the many many little things I have to do for my CCA as well, I could hardly find time for any recreational activities, much less blogging. =X (Yeah right, excuses eh? =P)

Even though the start of Year 2 has been more hectic than what I have expected, it is not totally as terrifying an experience as what it should be. I am still enjoying myself most of the time (who says work can't be associated with enjoyment?) and for some weird reason, I am always feeling contented with life nowadays. Hee.

Anyway, I read on the DotaSG forums that they are recruiting people for their writer and events coverage reporter positions. To be honest, I am actually quite interested in becoming a writer for them, considering that I have been quite involved in the competitive scene for this game a year ago. Although I am not a pro or somebody well-known in the scene, I have at least some basic understanding of the game and, I am sure, when required, I can actually write a good battle report or article on this game. In addition to that, my interest for DotA hasn't really died out. It is still burning in me, and the reason that I decided to quit gaming intensively is due to my various commitments in real life.

However, having said all that, I am still pretty unsure whether or not I am able to stay committed to that position for long. Will my passion for DotA dies out suddenly and the job then becomes a chore to me? In the face of all my commitments now, am I still able to generate two good articles on a weekly basis for the whole DotA community to read? Hmm.. That's a point to think of.

I enjoy playing DotA, even till now and I hope that I can do something for the community in return, something that will benefit them. On top of that, I would also like to gain some experiences writing articles and reports for people to read, but I am so afriad that I am unable to live up to my responsibility once I signed up for that post.

Haiyo. Such a dilemma. Hahaha. Even though it is a small problem. Aiya, never mind lahz. Slowly think through it again over the weekends.

In the meantime, hope you guys enjoy the remaining days of this week and have a fun time ahead! =)
