Yawns... I am in a I-Am-About-To-Doze-Off-Anytime mood now. Argh! Today's work is really boring. =X

Anyway, had our first NYAA Residential Project Planning Committee meeting today. It was pretty successful and the group of us, to my suprise, was able to work out some of the finer details regarding the event by the end of the meeting. Hoorayy! Hahaha. It is so comforting to know that you are working with people who are both conscientious and efficient. (It just means less work for me lahz. I prefer slacking. Who doesn't? =X)

Anyway, I have a good news to share with everyone, and that is I am going to be in the same GEMS class as Cynthia. HIP-HIP HOORAYY!! Of course, all the credits must be given to her as she was the one who registered the GEMS class for the both of us. (Although I did play a part by encouraging her. So 1% of the credits, maybe? =P) Hee. But I am so elated when I learnt of the news that she had successfully registered to be in the same class as me. Wheets~!

Hmm.. Since I have nothing much to update about also, I shall continue to clear my "debts" of the movie reviews which I promised. So here it goes..

10,000 BC: Really, if only the show was half as exciting as the trailer, I would have given it the thumbs-up and recommend this show to everybody. Unfortunately, when you compare the 2-mins trailer with the 96-mins show, the show just couldn't make the cut. Recognise those mammoths and the sabre-tooth tiger from the trailer? THE SHOCKING THING IS, THEY DIDN'T EVEN MAKE OUT 1/3 OF THE SHOW. AND TO ADD ON TO MY DISAPPOINTMENT, 10,000 BC WAS MORE OF A ROMANCE THAN A THRILLER. The whole story was actually about the male-lead trying to save his beloved, who was killed in the end and was revived soon after some miraculous work by the witch of the tribe. Congrats son, you have just produced the most touching show ever in the history of mankind. -.- Ratings: 2 stars /5 stars

Rule #1: Woah! This movie is horrendously scary. The fact that it is an Asian horror film means that it is pretty unique from the rest of the horror shows that the general movie-goers crowd has been in touch with lately (Japanese, English, Thai horrors are roaming the theatres, isn't it?). Quite freaky, with a good twist towards the end of the show. I like the twist. =D Just a bonus point for those patriotic people out there, the show actually features Fiona Xie, our very own local celebrity! Hee. Ratings: 4 stars / 5 stars
