Sunday is a very dreadful day for me cause it's the last resting day of the week. 2 days free from work never seemed enough for me. Perhaps I'm greedy. Well, who wouldn't ask for more? =D

Shall focus this post on the events that happened today. One should not look at the past right?

Woke up at 8.55am. This timing definitely sucks, but I have a morning movie to catch with my family so no choice. Watched "Money Not Enough 2". A typical Jack Neo film. Comedy is expected. Hokkien is a must to double the laughter. A teeny weeny bit of not so vulgar vulgarities to top it up. Of course I also anticipated scenes of heart-warming sadness to be included in the film. However, I didn't expect that in this film, the sadness was more than the comedy.

Jack Neo's recent films have been heavily critised by the media and were usually rated less then 3/5 stars. In my opinion, this is due to the lack of awaken mummies, crazy criminals and huge explosions that scare the hell out of you. Personally, I feel that once in a while watching "Jack Neo's type of film" is not a bad change.

Yes, maybe the plot is not very good compared to the twists and turns of "Dark Knight". However, I think these 2 movies can't be compared as they are 2 totally different type of films. I think that (I may be wrong) most, or maybe all Jack Neo's films ultimately are to deliver various messages to the people who watched them. The focus on his films and other action films are different. A fine example I would use will be his current movie - "Money Not Enough 2". I think the focus on this movie would be "Filial". I shall not be a "spoiler" and share about the movie but I think those who have already watched the movie will understand what I said.

The messages that all Jack Neo's movies delivered are really things and problems faced by people. After watching this movie, it inspired me for a quote of the day.

Quote of the day: People usually want things that they don't have. However, they only cherished them when the things they had don't belong to them. Irony eh?
