I wonder how many readers how there watched the anime - Full Metal Alchemist. From what I know, there are only 2. One very important rule of alchemy - Equivalent Exchange, which means to exchange something for another thing with the similar value. However, does this 'rule' exist in real life?

There is also a saying that is similar to the meaning of Equivalent Exchange and that is, you reap what you sow. You study hard, you get good results. Sadly, this is not always true. I admit that studying somehow does ensure that you get good results but not everytime. Put it in another way, does the result you get is of the same value as the time you spend studying? For eg, Mr. 1 can spend 5 hrs studying on Maths and Mr.2 spend 3 hrs. At the end of the day, both of them got the same result, a B. According to the rule of Equivalent Exchange if 3 hrs = B, then 5 hrs should be A, or at least a B+.

I can give other examples but I see no point in doing that because the meaning will be around the same. Thus, I shall end here.
